Merit-based Eligibility Criteria for Fellowship in Academic International Medicine

  • Requirements for Fellowship in Academic International Medicine (FAIM) are strict, with members required to earn at least 10 points before qualifying:
  • Continuous ACAIM membership for 3 or more years (1 point / year)
  • Participation in at least 1 ACAIM Committee or Leadership Position (1 point for each activity)
  • Expert / Invited presentations at Academic International Medicine Congress (1 point for each presentation) or an approved International conference (1 point for each presentation)
  • Publications in the International Journal of Academic Medicine (1 point for co-authorship on each accepted submission)
  • Research presentations at the Academic International Medicine Congress (1 point for each co-authored presentation) or an approved International conference (1 point for each co-authored presentation)
  • Helping the organization grow (1 point for each new member who registered after being referred by you)
  • Maximum number of 4 points can be awarded per year
